Vula began her career as a backing vocalist for various artists, including Basement Jaxx, before releasing her debut solo album, "Vula", in 2006. She has since released two further solo albums, "The Light" (2009) and "The Journey" (2013). Vula has also collaborated with a number of other artists, including Mark Ronson, Groove Armada, and The Streets. She has also written and produced music for films, including "The Boat That Rocked" (2009) and "The Inbetweeners Movie" (2011).
