Glenn Shorrock is an English-born Australian singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known as a founding member of the rock group Little River Band, for which he was lead vocalist and principal songwriter from 1975 to 1982. He has also had a successful solo career, releasing several albums and singles. Shorrock was born in Chatham, Kent, England, and moved to Australia with his family in 1957. He began his music career in the 1960s, performing in various bands in Melbourne. In 1975, he formed Little River Band with fellow musicians Beeb Birtles, Graeham Goble, and Derek Pellicci. The band achieved international success, with Shorrock writing and singing lead vocals on many of their hits, including "Help Is on Its Way", "Reminiscing", and "Lonesome Loser". In 1982, Shorrock left Little River Band and embarked on a solo career. He released several albums and singles, including "Every Little Bit Hurts" and "Ain't No Doubt". He also wrote and performed the theme song for the Australian soap opera Neighbours. Shorrock continues to perform and record music, and in 2018 he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
