Buddy Curry is an American former professional football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Atlanta Falcons from 1980 to 1986. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and was named to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team. Curry was born on June 4, 1958 in Greenville, North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University, where he was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-Conference selection. He was inducted into the East Carolina University Hall of Fame in 1997. Curry was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 1980 NFL Draft. He played for the Falcons for seven seasons, from 1980 to 1986. During his time with the Falcons, he was selected to the Pro Bowl twice, in 1983 and 1984. He was also named to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team. Curry retired from the NFL in 1986. After his retirement, he worked as a financial advisor and a motivational speaker. As of 2021, Buddy Curry's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
