She is best known for her roles in the films The Godfather Part II (1974), The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), and The Stepford Wives (1975). Farrar was born in Brooklyn, New York, and began her career in the early 1950s. She made her film debut in the 1954 film The Long Wait, and went on to appear in numerous films throughout the 1950s and 1960s. She also appeared in several television shows, including The Defenders, The Untouchables, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. In 1974, Farrar appeared in two of the most iconic films of the decade: The Godfather Part II and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. She also appeared in the 1975 film The Stepford Wives. Farrar has continued to appear in films and television shows throughout her career, including the films The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984) and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz (2005). She has also appeared in numerous television shows, including Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Good Wife. Farrar is currently retired from acting.
