Sixto Soria is a Cuban former professional boxer who competed from 1975 to 1988. He held the WBA bantamweight title from 1979 to 1981, and the WBC super bantamweight title from 1983 to 1984. Soria was born on April 27, 1954 in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. He began boxing at the age of 12, and went on to become a Cuban national champion in 1975. He turned professional in 1976, and won his first world title in 1979, when he defeated Carlos Zarate to become the WBA bantamweight champion. He successfully defended his title three times before losing it to Wilfredo Gomez in 1981. In 1983, Soria moved up to the super bantamweight division and won the WBC title with a victory over Juan Meza. He successfully defended his title twice before losing it to Jeff Fenech in 1984. He retired from boxing in 1988 with a record of 44 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw. Soria is now retired and lives in Miami, Florida. He is married and has two children.

Sixto Soria Savigne (born April 27, 1954 in Santiago de Cuba) is a Cuban boxer, who won the silver medal in the men's Light Heavyweight (81 kg) category at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. As the top favourite he lost in a close fight to Leon Spinks of USA. Two years later he captured the world title at the second World Championships in Belgrade. He lost in the quarter-finals of the 1979 Pan American Games to American Tony Tucker.
