She is best known for her roles in television dramas such as Dhoop Kinare, Tanhaiyaan, and Marvi. She has also appeared in films such as Inteha, Khuda Kay Liye, and Bol. Peerzada began her career in the early 1980s, appearing in television dramas such as Dhoop Kinare and Tanhaiyaan. She has since appeared in numerous television dramas, films, and stage plays. She has also directed and produced several television dramas. Peerzada has won numerous awards for her work, including the Pride of Performance Award in 2006. She is also the recipient of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, the highest civilian award in Pakistan. Peerzada is married to actor and director Javed Sheikh, with whom she has two children.
