He went on to appear in a number of other films, including The Blues Brothers (1980), Ghostbusters (1984), and Trading Places (1983). Aykroyd has also appeared in numerous television shows, including Saturday Night Live (1975-1979), The Simpsons (1989-present), and SCTV (1976-1981). Aykroyd has been married twice. He was first married to actress Donna Dixon from 1983 to 2009. He is currently married to actress Carrie Fisher, whom he married in 2010. As of 2021, P.H.
