Mike Bernskoetter is an American politician who has served in the Missouri House of Representatives since 2011. He is a member of the Republican Party. Bernskoetter was born on November 29, 1959 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He attended Jefferson City High School and graduated in 1978. He then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture in 1982. Bernskoetter has been a farmer since 1982 and is the owner of Bernskoetter Farms. He is also a member of the Missouri Farm Bureau, the Missouri Cattlemen's Association, and the Missouri Corn Growers Association. In 2010, Bernskoetter was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives. He has been re-elected in every election since then. Bernskoetter is a former member of the Missouri House of Representatives, and served from 2011 to 2019. In 2018, Bernskoetter was elected to succeed Mike Kehoe as the state senator representing Missouri's 6th district; Kehoe was appointed lieutenant governor in June 2018.
