Michele Lepore-Hagan is an American politician who has served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives since 2013. She is a Democrat representing the 58th district, which includes parts of Mahoning and Trumbull counties. Lepore-Hagan was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and graduated from Chaney High School in 1973. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University in 1977 and a master's degree in education from the University of Akron in 1981. Lepore-Hagan began her career as a teacher in the Youngstown City School District, where she taught for more than 20 years. She was also a member of the Youngstown City Council from 2000 to 2004. In 2012, Lepore-Hagan was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, where she has served since 2013. She is the ranking member of the House Education and Career Readiness Committee and a member of the House Finance and Appropriations Committee.
