Lynette Perry is an American music department and miscellaneous crew member. She is best known for her work on the television series The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. She has also worked on films such as The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Perry was born on September 29, 1963 in Rockwall, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied music. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Perry began her career in the music department of The X-Files in 1993. She worked on the show for five seasons, and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series in 1998. She then went on to work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, both of which were produced by Joss Whedon. In 2003, Perry worked on The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. She was also the music supervisor for The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Perry has also worked on other television shows such as Charmed, Alias, and Lost. She has also worked on films such as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Da Vinci Code, and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Perry currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She is married and has two children.
