Lesley-Ann Brandt is a South African actress best known for her roles as Mazikeen in the Fox/Netflix television series Lucifer and Naevia in the Starz television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She has also appeared in the films The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice and A Perfect Plan. Brandt was born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town, South Africa. She attended the University of Cape Town, where she studied drama and performance. Brandt began her acting career in South Africa, appearing in television series such as Isidingo and 7de Laan. In 2008, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. She has since appeared in numerous television series, including CSI: Miami, NCIS: Los Angeles, and The Librarians. In 2015, Brandt was cast as Mazikeen in the Fox/Netflix television series Lucifer. She has since appeared in all five seasons of the series. In 2020, Brandt was cast as the lead in the upcoming Netflix series Sweet Magnolias. Brandt is married to Chris Payne Gilbert. The couple have two children.

Brandt's first significant acting role was in the New Zealand television series Diplomatic Immunity. Brandt has appeared in guest roles on the New Zealand hospital soap opera, Shortland Street, and This Is Not My Life, a science fiction series set in the 2020s in the fictional town of Waimoana.
In 2015, she won the role of Maze in the FOX television series Lucifer. She replaced actress Lina Esco who was released after the first table read. Brandt had reportedly tested for the role and was reconsidered after Esco was released.
Brandt married her boyfriend of three years, actor Chris Payne Gilbert, in 2015. The couple's first child, son Kingston Payne Brandt-Gilbert, was born in July 2017.
