Lauren Lyster is an American television reporter and anchor. She is currently the host of the show "Capital Account" on RT America. She was born in 1981 in Irvine, California. Lyster graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2003 with a degree in Political Science. She then went on to earn a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California in 2005. Lyster began her career as a reporter for KTVU in Oakland, California. She then moved to Los Angeles to work as a reporter for KCBS-TV. In 2008, she joined the Fox Business Network as a reporter and anchor. She was also a regular contributor to the Fox News Channel. In 2011, Lyster joined RT America as the host of the show "Capital Account". She has also appeared as a guest on various other shows on the network. Lyster is married to fellow journalist and RT America anchor, Anya Parampil. The couple has two children.
