Lars Arentz-Hansen is a Norwegian actor, writer, and producer. He is best known for his roles in the films Insomnia (1997), The Bothersome Man (2006), and The Wave (2015). He has also appeared in numerous television series, including The Heavy Water War (2015) and Occupied (2015-2016). Arentz-Hansen was born on 24 February 1966 in Kristiansund, Norway. He studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in Oslo from 1988 to 1991. He has been married to actress and director Linn Skåber since 2002. They have two children together. Arentz-Hansen has won several awards for his work, including the Amanda Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in The Bothersome Man (2006).
