Ken Bastida is an American journalist and news anchor. He is currently the co-anchor of KPIX 5 News at 5, 6, and 11 p.m. in San Francisco, California. He has been with the station since 1989. Bastida was born in San Francisco and graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Communications. He began his career in broadcasting in 1979 at KSBW-TV in Salinas, California. He then moved to KOVR-TV in Sacramento, California, where he was a reporter and anchor for six years. Bastida joined KPIX 5 in 1989 as a reporter and anchor. He has since become one of the most recognizable faces in the Bay Area. He has won numerous awards for his reporting, including two Emmy Awards and two Edward R. Murrow Awards. Bastida is married to his wife, Lisa, and they have two children. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his family.

Ken Bastida (born December 30, 1956) is a California news anchor on Channel 5 (KPIX), a CBS affiliate. He has been a reporter with the station since 1990. Bastida began his career as a Bay Area radio host in 1978. Since then he has held on air positions at Bay Area radio stations KFRC, KGO, KMEL, K101, KFYI and KCBS radio. For a time Bastida even hosted his own landscaping show on HGTV called Landscape Smart. Bastida holds a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts from San Francisco State University and was inducted into the University's Hall of Fame in May 2008.
