John Michael Weatherly is an American actor, musician, and director. He is best known for his role as Anthony DiNozzo in the CBS television series NCIS. He has also appeared in a number of films, including The Rock, Dark Angel, and The Last Castle. Weatherly was born on July 2, 1980 in Mobile, Alabama. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied philosophy and drama. Weatherly began his acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in a number of television shows, including The Drew Carey Show, Charmed, and Dark Angel. In 2003, he was cast as Anthony DiNozzo in the CBS series NCIS, a role he played for 13 seasons. In addition to acting, Weatherly is also a musician and director. He has released two albums, and has directed several episodes of NCIS. Weatherly has been married twice. He is currently married to actress Bojana Jankovic, with whom he has two children.
