Estelle Bennett began her career as a singer in the early 1960s, when she joined her sister Ronnie Spector and cousin Nedra Talley to form the girl group The Ronettes. The group had a string of hits, including "Be My Baby" and "Walking in the Rain". Estelle Bennett left the group in 1965 and pursued a solo career. She released two solo albums, Estelle Bennett and Estelle, and had a minor hit with the single "Love Comes and Goes". Estelle Bennett also appeared in several films, including The Big T.N.T. Show (1966), The Cool Ones (1967), and The Swinger (1966). Estelle Bennett passed away on February 11, 2009 at the age of 67.
