Donald Geary was a professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues from 1949 to 1954. He was a right-handed pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Browns. He was born in Hamden, Connecticut and attended the University of Connecticut. Geary made his major league debut on April 20, 1949, with the Red Sox. He went on to pitch in a total of 97 games, starting in 48 of them. He had a career record of 16-25 with a 4.45 ERA. He also had a total of 5 saves. Geary retired from baseball in 1954 and went on to become a successful businessman. He was the president of the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company and was a director of the Connecticut Bankers Association. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Connecticut State Chamber of Commerce. Geary passed away on October 15, 2015, at the age of 89.

Donald Edward Geary (July 10, 1926 – July 22, 2015) was an American ice hockey player who competed in ice hockey at the 1948 Winter Olympics. Geary was a member of the American ice hockey team which played eight games, but was disqualified, at the 1948 Winter Olympics hosted by St. Moritz, Switzerland.
