David Gardiner is a former Guatemalan footballer who was born on 11 February, 1957 in Guatemala City. He began his career in the youth divisions of Comunicaciones and then moved to Municipal in 1976. He played for Municipal until 1982, when he joined Aurora. He played for Aurora until his retirement in 1989. Gardiner was a member of the Guatemalan national team from 1976 to 1989, and was part of the squad that won the 1983 CONCACAF Championship. He also represented Guatemala in the 1984 Summer Olympics. Gardiner is currently the president of the Guatemalan Football Federation. He was elected in 2011 and re-elected in 2015. Gardiner's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
