Bruce Kimball is an American former Olympic diver and coach. He won a gold medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, and a bronze medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He was the first American to win a gold medal in the men's 3-meter springboard event. Kimball was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, and attended Beverly High School. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he was a member of the diving team. He graduated in 1979 with a degree in physical education. Kimball began his coaching career in 1979 at the University of Tennessee. He was the head coach of the U.S. Olympic diving team in 1984 and 1988. He was also the head coach of the U.S. National Diving Team from 1985 to 1989. Kimball was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1995. He is currently the head coach of the diving program at the University of Florida. As of 2021, Bruce Kimball's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.
