Bill Parcells is an American football coach and executive who has been involved in the National Football League (NFL) for over four decades. He is best known for his two Super Bowl victories as head coach of the New York Giants in 1986 and 1990. He also served as head coach of the New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys. Parcells was born in Englewood, New Jersey, and attended River Dell High School in Oradell, New Jersey. He played college football at Colgate University, where he was a two-time All-American linebacker. After graduating in 1964, he began his coaching career as an assistant at Hastings College in Nebraska. Parcells' NFL coaching career began in 1979, when he was hired as the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants. He was promoted to head coach in 1983 and led the team to two Super Bowl victories in 1986 and 1990. He left the Giants in 1991 and went on to coach the New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Dallas Cowboys. Parcells was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. He is currently an analyst for ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown. As of 2021, Bill Parcells' net worth is estimated to be $20 million.
