Benny Ricardo is a former Paraguayan footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was born on 4 January 1954 in Asunción, Paraguay. He began his career in the youth divisions of Club Olimpia, and made his professional debut in 1972. He went on to play for several clubs in Paraguay, including Club Libertad, Club Guaraní, Club Cerro Porteño, and Club Nacional. Ricardo was part of the Paraguayan national team from 1975 to 1986, and was part of the squad that won the 1979 Copa América. He also represented Paraguay at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain. Ricardo retired from professional football in 1989, and has since worked as a coach and a television commentator. As of 2021, Benny Ricardo's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million. As a Minnesota Viking, Ricardo led the NFC in scoring in 1983 with 108 points.
