Ben Kozlowski was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the fourth round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft. He made his Major League debut on April 4, 2003, against the Baltimore Orioles. He pitched in the majors for the Devil Rays, Texas Rangers, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Kozlowski was a member of the 2004 Texas Rangers team that won the American League West Division title. He was also a member of the 2005 Arizona Diamondbacks team that won the National League West Division title. Kozlowski retired from professional baseball in 2008. He currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, with his wife and two children. He is currently the pitching coach for the Clearwater Threshers, a minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Kozlowski returned to action in the middle of the 2004 season, but struggled, and was placed on waivers by the Rangers after the season.
