Agustín Magaldi was an Argentine actor and singer who was active in the early 20th century. He was born on December 1, 1898 in Santa Fé, Argentina. He was best known for his roles in the films El último tango en Buenos Aires (1935) and El último tango en París (1936). Magaldi began his career as a singer in the early 1920s, performing in cabarets and theaters in Buenos Aires. He was soon signed to a record label and released several successful singles. In 1935, he made his film debut in El último tango en Buenos Aires. He went on to appear in several other films, including El último tango en París and La vida es un tango (1937). Magaldi was married twice and had two children. He died on April 15, 1945 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 46 years old.
